WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) released the following statement on the Trump Administration’s approval of the Keystone XL pipeline:
“The building of the Keystone XL pipeline will create thousands of American jobs and pump billions of dollars into our nation’s economy. Unfortunately, President Obama vetoed this infrastructure jobs bill in favor of liberal special-interests. President Trump is to be commended for taking this action today, which is a significant step towards promoting much-needed jobs, economic growth, and energy security.”
