Leader McConnell Meets with Senator-Designate Martha McSally
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) released the following statement following his meeting with Senator-designate Martha McSally (R-AZ):
“Governor Ducey made a terrific choice to appoint Martha McSally to the United States Senate. Her career of patriotic service to her state and nation make her uniquely qualified to serve the people of Arizona in the Senate.
“I look forward to working closely with Senator-designate McSally as she continues her service and fights for all Americans, with the men and women who serve in uniform and her fellow Veterans always on her mind. I’m glad she will be part of our expanded Republican majority when the 116th Congress begins in January.”
