Majority Leader McConnell’s Statement on Rep. Mick Mulvaney

‘After the last eight years of tax and spend policies coming out of the White House, it’s time to get our nation’s fiscal house in order.’

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) released the following statement after meeting with President-elect Trump’s intended nominee for Director of the Office of Management and Budget, Congressman Mick Mulvaney (R-SC):

“After the last eight years of tax and spend policies coming out of the White House, it’s time to get our nation’s fiscal house in order. I look forward to working with Mick to bring regulatory and budget sanity to our nation and our economy.”
